The food is always delicious, however, 3 days ago my husband went to the store on his way home from work and ordered to-Go for us. When he arrived home, his burrito was cold. Like really cold. When he called and told them (in a kind manner), they said there was nothing they could do if he didn't bring it back to exchange it. We live across town, so that wasn't an option. My husband had to warm the oven and wait for his food to warm for about 20 mins before he could eat. It was really disappointing.

This is the first Mexican restaurant that I've been to in Warner Robins and let me say it tasted really authentic. This restaurant has such a homely feeling. I can tell by the people that come here that they also enjoy coming here, since the waiter knew each of them by name. Not only did the food taste good but they gave large portions for the amount of money we paid. To conclude, I want to give a big thank you to our server Elias...He was so helpful and attentive to all of our needs. He has such great customer service skills..

I'm not sure why I expected anything other than 1 star from this place. It's sub-par bland tex-mex. The chile relleno was a sad wilted strip of poblano encased in a goopy congealed mass of white cheese. Tomatoes were flavorless pink chunks. The margarita was a fishbowl of lime kool-aid. The "tacos" are actually hard shell chingaderas and you have to pay extra to get normal tortillas. Seriously? On top of the unimpressive food, they messed up our check and had to void our credit charges and do it again. Avoid!

I actually hate this place. A lot of people love this place but I can't stand anything-- the food, the service, the experience, nothing. Everytime I've eaten here, I get sick. I come here usually during work going aways or the random lunch with a colleague and everytime I give it a chance, the same crap. Definitely not coming here again. Ever.

Typical Mexican fare. Margaritas are marginal and they don't know what top shelf means.

I love El J's. I love their Sopa de Pollo (Chicken soup), I love their shrimp dishes (one is grilled shrimp with lettuce, tomato, guacamole) and the other is a shrimp enchilada with nacho cheese (white cheese) on top. Deliciosa!!! And they're cheap. Love El J's.

Typical Mexican menu with nothing that really sets it apart from the rest. However, it is well priced and consistenly good. One of the Mexican restaurants that we go to regularly.

I rated 5 stars because I found the bomb diggity on the menu! The Carnitas tacos are my choice every time now. It does not come with cheese but not needed. The tomatillo sauce that comes with it is perfect. Spicy and full of taste. The beans and rice do not disappoint either. Last time I had Carnitas this good was in California and to find it right down the street was a big deal for me. The facility is standard Mexican restaurant fair and lunches are pretty quick, given the huge crowds typical during the week. I have lived here 6 years and just recently tried it again after a long spell. Glad I did!

Service isn't that good.! They expect a tip & never refill tour drink. Veggies aren't sautéed. AT ALL. I've learned to tell them to leave them out. This is a mediocre restaurant sadly people in Warner robins don't know any different. :(

I grew up eating this place every Friday night.. It's my favorite Mexican place in Warner Robins. House Special is great.

Another mediocre Mexican restaurant. This town is full of them. There must be a central Mexican food plant in WR that pipelines this crap to all the Mexican places in town. The problem is that Central Georgians have probably never had good Mexican food to begin with. There is more to Mexican food than corn chips, queso dip, re-fried beans, rice and ground beef stuff into something. Go to CA or TX and you will never eat this junk again. I won't eat at LJs again unless a group of friends drag me there.

This place is pretty good. Clean place with a friendly/attentive staff. Yes, I've had better food but the food is priced very low so that's a plus! Will definitely go again.

I was in Warner Robins last night visiting with a family member and they asked me to El Jalisiense. Considering I love Mexican food, it was the perfect choice. I LOVE IT! Service was amazing...server was very friendly, prompt and accurate. The cheese dip was perfect in every way. The place is VERY clean and I had no wait time. The food came out quickly and was delicious and very reasonably priced. Next time I go visit Waner Robins, I'll be sure to stop in again! GREAT PLACE!

My mortgage officer recommended this place to use when we was in town to sign our house contract and it did not disappoint at all. Both my wife and my dish was excellent and the white cheese was outstanding with fresh tortilla chips. An awesome place that we will visit over and over again once we make Warner Robins our home.

The restaurant was very busy, in at 12:30. I was seated immediately, the waitress was taking my order within about 3 min and the food came out about 5 min after that. Food was great, service was great. The restaurant was very clean. I would definitely come here again!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
